Key Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and develop mechanical components and systems for aircraft engines, ensuring compliance with rigorous aerospace standards.
  • Perform detailed engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, vibration, and fluid dynamics using advanced CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS, CATIA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, materials science, manufacturing, and quality assurance, throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports, designs, and recommendations to peers and leadership.
  • Participate actively in design reviews, critical problem-solving sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support testing and validation activities, analyze test data, and implement design modifications as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues in existing products and develop innovative, sustainable solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in aerospace engineering.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design or analysis within a relevant industry.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks, NX) and CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including mechanics of materials, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and machine design.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.

  • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerancing stack-up analysis.
  • Project management experience or demonstrated leadership roles in engineering projects.
