Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and development of mechanical components, sub-systems, and integrated systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Conduct fundamental engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses (e.g., stress, thermal, vibration) to validate design concepts and ensure performance requirements are met.
  • Assist in the creation of precise 2D and 3D CAD models, detailed assembly drawings, and technical specifications for manufacturing.
  • Support the rigorous testing and validation of prototypes and production units, including data collection and preliminary analysis.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, manufacturing specialists, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and project success.
  • Document design processes, test procedures, results, and system specifications in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Actively engage in all provided training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to enhance technical skills and domain knowledge.
  • Learn and apply industry best practices, safety standards, and relevant regulatory requirements in all engineering activities.
  • Contribute to problem-solving initiatives, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts to optimize product design and manufacturing processes.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Basic understanding of core mechanical engineering principles (e.g., mechanics of materials, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, machine design).
  • Familiarity with at least one common CAD software package (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
  • High motivation, a proactive attitude, and an eagerness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for technical documentation and communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or academic project experience demonstrating practical application of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Basic knowledge or familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools.
  • Understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, additive manufacturing) and materials science.
  • Familiarity with defense industry standards, quality systems, or aerospace regulations (e.g., AS9100).
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
