Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical issues in various vehicle systems.
- Conduct comprehensive repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Execute routine service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to accurately pinpoint and resolve complex vehicle problems.
- Interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams to facilitate effective repairs.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and workshop procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and services performed.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options, and estimated timelines.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workshop area and tools.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Automobile Mechanic or Technician.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and diagnostic procedures.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment (e.g., scan tools, multimeters).
- Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license.
