Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and review of M&E tools and methodologies.
- Support data collection activities, including conducting surveys, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews.
- Perform data entry, cleaning, and preliminary analysis using appropriate software.
- Contribute to the compilation of routine monitoring reports, success stories, and case studies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date M&E documentation, including databases and physical files.
- Participate in M&E capacity building activities and workshops for program staff and partners.
- Support the M&E team in preparing for project reviews, evaluations, and learning events.
- Conduct field visits as required to verify data and support data collection processes.
- Ensure adherence to data protection and confidentiality protocols.
- Assist with other M&E-related tasks as assigned by the M&E Officer or Manager.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior volunteer or internship experience in M&E, data management, or research.
- Familiarity with data collection software such as KoboToolbox, ODK, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of humanitarian and development programming principles.
- Knowledge of local languages spoken in Mozambique (e.g., Sena, Changana, Makhuwa).
