Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, to Marriott's exacting standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Replenish guest room supplies, amenities, and linen, ensuring everything is neatly presented and fully stocked according to brand guidelines.
- Make beds with fresh linens, ensuring they are perfectly made, crisp, and inviting for our guests.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and thoroughly clean all surfaces, paying close attention to details like fixtures, fittings, and glassware.
- Empty waste bins, remove soiled linen, and dispose of rubbish in accordance with hotel procedures and environmental standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, safety hazards, or missing items immediately to the housekeeping supervisor or relevant department.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency, professionalism, and a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in housekeeping storage areas, linen closets, and trolleys, ensuring all supplies are easily accessible.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, operating equipment safely, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless guest service and operational efficiency.
