Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage and transportation.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing an overview of the room features, hotel amenities, and services.
  • Assist guests with storing and retrieving luggage efficiently and securely.
  • Provide accurate and helpful information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions in Swansea.
  • Assist with guest requests, such as calling taxis, providing directions, or delivering items to rooms promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable lobby and bell stand area.
  • Work collaboratively with other hotel departments (e.g., Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge) to ensure seamless guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with professionalism and a positive attitude, escalating more complex concerns to management.
  • Operate hotel vehicles, if required and licensed, for guest shuttle services or valet parking.
  • Adhere strictly to all hotel safety and security procedures and policies, ensuring guest and associate well-being.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience (e.g., 6 months to 1 year) in a customer service or hospitality role (e.g., concierge, front desk, guest services).
  • Knowledge of the local Swansea area, including attractions, dining, and transportation options.
  • Valid UK driving license with a clean record (essential if valet/shuttle duties are required).
  • Ability to speak additional languages is a plus.
