Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a holistic marketing strategy aligned with The Very Group’s business objectives and brand vision.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability.
- Oversee all aspects of the marketing mix, including digital marketing (SEO, PPC, social media, email, affiliates), brand management, content marketing, PR, and offline campaigns.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention through innovative and data-driven marketing programs, leveraging personalization and customer insights.
- Manage significant marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and demonstrable return on investment (ROI).
- Utilize market research, competitor analysis, and deep customer insights to identify new opportunities and refine existing strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, commercial, technology, and finance teams to ensure integrated strategies and seamless customer experiences.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, utilizing advanced analytics to inform future marketing decisions and optimize spend.
- Champion brand consistency and ensure all marketing communications reflect The Very Group's brand identity, tone of voice, and core values.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in digital retail marketing to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 8 years) as a Marketing Director or in a senior marketing leadership role within a large-scale e-commerce or retail environment.
- Demonstrable track record of developing and executing successful, data-driven marketing strategies that delivered measurable growth and commercial impact.
- Strong expertise across the full marketing mix, with a particular emphasis on digital marketing channels and performance marketing.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain top talent.
- Highly analytical mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics tools, A/B testing methodologies, and customer segmentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive and lead in a fast-paced, constantly evolving digital landscape.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
