Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns that align with ATB Financial’s business goals and brand identity.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented work environment.
- Oversee all aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, content creation, social media, public relations, advertising, and market research.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and demonstrable return on investment (ROI) for all initiatives.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and threats, informing strategic decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, sales, and executive teams to ensure integrated marketing efforts and consistent messaging.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns, providing regular reports on performance, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal policies, particularly within the financial services sector.
- Drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through innovative and targeted marketing programs.
- Identify emerging marketing trends, technologies, and consumer behaviours, recommending and implementing strategies to maintain ATB Financial's competitive edge.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or directorial role managing a team.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful, data-driven marketing strategies that achieved measurable business objectives.
- Deep understanding of modern digital marketing channels, analytics platforms, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media advertising strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in managing significant marketing budgets and P&L responsibility for marketing functions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to evolving priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA) or equivalent advanced qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Extensive experience specifically within the financial services or banking industry, understanding its unique challenges and regulatory landscape.
- Familiarity with leading marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Adobe Marketing Cloud).
- Certification in digital marketing, project management, or related professional areas.
- Proven experience with comprehensive brand management and corporate communications at an enterprise level.
