Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive market research projects, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- Analyze large datasets to identify market trends, customer segments, competitive activities, and growth opportunities.
- Develop insightful reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings, actionable recommendations, and strategic implications to stakeholders across various departments.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to define research objectives and integrate insights into business strategies.
- Utilize advanced statistical analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Excel) to model data and predict market behaviour.
- Monitor and track market performance, competitor activities, and industry developments to keep the business informed and agile.
- Maintain and enhance market intelligence repositories, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Present research findings to senior management and external partners, defending methodologies and insights.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in market research, data analysis, or a related insights-driven role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expert-level command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of market research methodologies, both quantitative and qualitative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) and market intelligence platforms.
