Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and exceptional service.
- Conduct thorough financial needs analyses to understand clients' current financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance.
- Develop and present personalized financial plans and strategies, encompassing investments, insurance, and retirement solutions.
- Educate clients on various financial products and services, ensuring they make informed decisions aligned with their objectives.
- Monitor client portfolios and financial plans, making adjustments as needed based on market changes and life events.
- Actively prospect for new clients and expand your professional network within the Carmel community.
- Stay current with financial market trends, industry regulations, and new product offerings.
- Adhere strictly to all compliance requirements and ethical standards of Manulife Financial and regulatory bodies.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Holds or can quickly obtain Indiana Life and Health Insurance licenses.
- Holds or can quickly obtain FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in financial services, sales, or a client-facing role.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or progress towards obtaining it.
- A strong existing network within the Carmel, Indiana community.
