Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and process various insurance claims in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with policyholders, beneficiaries, medical providers, and other external parties regarding claim status, requirements, and decisions.
- Verify claim eligibility by reviewing policy terms, medical records, and other relevant documentation.
- Accurately document all claim-related activities, communications, and decisions in the claims management system.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to claims, escalating complex cases to senior associates or management as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and legal, to gather necessary information or resolve claim-related matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, claims processing procedures, and relevant industry regulations.
- Adhere strictly to privacy and confidentiality protocols for sensitive claimant information.
