  • Business partner with non-finance stakeholders to enhance financial understanding and drive performance improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within a large, complex organisation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or a similar large-scale ERP system.
  • Previous experience in the retail, distribution, or construction sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Experience in presenting financial information clearly to non-finance professionals.
