Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facility equipment and systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration) to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of all operational assets.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime.
- Execute repairs on various building components including minor carpentry, painting, plastering, and general structural maintenance.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage and maintain maintenance tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors when specialized repairs or services are required.
- Assist in energy conservation efforts and identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements.
Required Skills
- Proven technical proficiency in electrical systems (wiring, circuits, lighting).
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Competence in HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and general handyman skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
