Job Description
Are you a skilled and safety-conscious individual with a passion for precision and efficiency? BRALIMA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our dynamic industrial line team in Gbadolite, Nord-Ubangi Province. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our state-of-the-art production machinery. As a Machine Operator, you will play a pivotal part in upholding the high-quality standards and production targets that BRALIMA is known for. You will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and performing routine maintenance on various industrial machines, contributing directly to the production of our beloved beverages. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative manufacturing environment, you will detect and report any malfunctions, perform basic troubleshooting, and adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality control guidelines, including stringent food safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various industrial production machines (e.g., fillers, labelers, cappers, packaging machines) on a high-speed production line.
- Perform routine checks, adjustments, and basic preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
- Proactively identify and report equipment malfunctions, unusual noises, stoppages, and product quality issues promptly to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control guidelines, including HACCP/food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, consistently upholding good manufacturing practices (GMP) and hygiene standards.
- Load raw materials, packaging components, and other necessary supplies into machines as required for continuous operation.
- Conduct in-process quality checks on products to ensure they meet specified criteria and identify any deviations.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, production supervisors, and maintenance staff to achieve daily production targets and resolve operational challenges.
- Accurately complete all required production logs, shift reports, and documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in an industrial, manufacturing, or production line setting (minimum 3 years).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to operate and understand complex industrial machinery.
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial safety procedures and quality control protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, machine specifications, and production schedules.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for common machinery issues.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift moderate weights (up to 20kg).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to producing high-quality output.
- Reliable team player with effective verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in French, both written and spoken (essential for daily operations and safety briefings).
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
- Previous experience specifically within the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of HACCP or other food safety management systems and principles.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and digital reporting.
