Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented, and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our dynamic Freight Division team in the vibrant Brickell area of Miami. This pivotal role involves overseeing the comprehensive daily operations of freight movement, ensuring peak efficiency, strict compliance with industry regulations, and the consistent delivery of superior service to our diverse clientele. The Logistics Supervisor will be instrumental in the strategic planning and optimization of shipping routes, meticulous management of carrier relationships, and the direct supervision and mentorship of a dedicated team of logistics coordinators.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of logistics coordinators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee daily freight operations, including dispatch, routing, tracking, and delivery schedules.
- Optimize transportation routes and methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, transit times, and freight costs.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and customer service challenges promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Implement and promote best practices for freight management and supply chain optimization.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics.
- Prepare and present operational reports to management, highlighting performance and areas for improvement.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in freight management systems (FMS) and/or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong understanding of domestic and international freight regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CTL).
- Familiarity with cross-border logistics and international trade documentation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus due to the Miami location.
