Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Manage inventory levels and warehousing activities to optimize stock availability and minimize holding costs.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth international and domestic shipments.
- Process shipping documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and packing lists, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and service quality.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales) to align logistics activities with business needs.
- Resolve shipping and delivery discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and supply chain functions.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Proven knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP or other major ERP/WMS systems.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Certifications in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CILT, CSCP).
