Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of freight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Liaise effectively with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Manage shipment documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and other necessary records.
  • Track and trace shipments, providing real-time updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve logistical issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, promptly and effectively.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other software tools for optimal planning and execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of transportation regulations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
