Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Manage documentation for shipments (e.g., bills of lading, customs declarations, invoices) ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Track and trace shipments from origin to destination, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and logistics service providers to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, expenditures, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and freight costs.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex logistics operations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
