Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently select grocery items from store shelves according to online customer orders.
- Verify product freshness, quality, and expiry dates before selection.
- Carefully package items, ensuring proper handling of fragile and temperature-sensitive products.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and other relevant technology to process orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding order status and potential issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting with order inquiries or concerns during pickup times.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using handheld devices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
