Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets from various LinkedIn product and operational systems using SQL and other analytical tools.
- Develop and maintain robust dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor product health and business performance.
- Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in user behavior, market dynamics, and operational efficiency.
- Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs, analyzing results to measure the impact of new features, product changes, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, marketers, and sales teams to define data requirements, frame business questions, and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform product strategy, improve user experience, and drive business growth.
- Present findings and insights clearly and compellingly to technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, written reports, and interactive dashboards.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all analyses and reporting, contributing to data governance best practices.
- Proactively identify new data sources and analytical techniques to enhance the depth and breadth of our insights.
- Stay updated with industry best practices in data analytics, data science, and business intelligence.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to create compelling dashboards and reports.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis concepts and techniques.
- Proficiency in a scripting language for data analysis (e.g., Python or R).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work with large, complex, and sometimes unstructured datasets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
