Job Description

Grace International School is actively seeking a dynamic, innovative, and deeply passionate School/Resource Librarian to enrich our dedicated team. This pivotal role involves not only overseeing the efficient daily operations of our modern school library but also, crucially, transforming it into a vibrant, engaging, and indispensable hub of learning, comprehensive research, and literacy for students across all grade levels – from early years to senior secondary – and our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will be instrumental in cultivating an environment where reading is not just tolerated but actively celebrated, where information literacy skills are meticulously honed, and where access to diverse, high-quality print and digital resources is readily and equitably available to all. You will be responsible for the strategic management and continuous development of the library’s collection, ensuring it remains relevant, up-to-date, culturally responsive, and meticulously aligned with our rigorous curriculum and educational objectives. Beyond traditional library duties such as cataloging and circulation, this role urgently calls for an innovative educator who can seamlessly integrate cutting-edge technology, actively promote responsible digital citizenship, and develop imaginative, interactive programs that genuinely spark curiosity, foster independent learning, and encourage critical engagement with information. We are looking for a professional who can not only maintain an impeccably organized and welcoming physical and virtual space but also actively collaborate with teachers across various departments to profoundly enhance learning outcomes, provide targeted research support, and instill a lifelong love for reading, inquiry, and intellectual discovery. This is an exciting and impactful opportunity for a dedicated professional who is eager to make a significant and lasting difference in student success and the overall enriching educational experience within our vibrant school community.
