Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials under the guidance of senior faculty members.
- Assist in the development and preparation of course materials, including syllabi, readings, and assignments.
- Grade student assignments, examinations, and projects, providing constructive and timely feedback.
- Hold regular office hours to provide academic support, guidance, and mentorship to students.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development discussions, and academic events.
- Contribute to the academic life of the university through research activities, presentations, or publications as opportunities arise.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in your field of expertise and incorporate new findings into teaching.
- Utilize learning management systems and other educational technologies effectively to enhance learning.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in a relevant academic discipline (or nearing completion with a strong academic record)
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and student mentorship
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Graduate Assistant, or similar instructional role
- Enrollment in a Ph.D. program or actively pursuing further postgraduate studies
