As a member of our essential Hotel Operations team, you will be responsible for the entire laundry cycle, from the initial sorting of soiled items, through the precise operation of industrial washing and drying equipment, to the meticulous folding, stacking, and organizing of freshly laundered linens. Your daily tasks ensure that our housekeeping department always has a ready supply of high-quality, sanitized bedding and towels, which are critical components of a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and irons, safely and efficiently.
- Sort linens, towels, and other hotel fabrics, separating items by type, color, and degree of soil.
- Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper chemical dosage and water temperature for optimal cleaning.
- Fold, stack, and organize clean linens and towels according to established hotel standards.
- Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness, damage, and wear, removing any substandard items from circulation.
- Transport clean linen to designated storage areas and assist housekeeping with stocking as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, equipment, and storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all hotel safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts of linen and laundry supplies as required.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections.
- Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) throughout a shift.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of English for communication and safety instructions.

- Previous experience in a hotel, commercial laundry, or similar industrial cleaning environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
