Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and degree of soiling.
- Load and unload laundry into machines, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Monitor washing and drying cycles, adjusting settings as needed.
- Apply appropriate detergents, bleaches, and softeners according to fabric requirements.
- Perform stain treatment and removal on various fabrics.
- Fold, press, and organize clean linens, towels, and uniforms according to hotel standards.
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report low stock levels.
- Conduct routine cleaning and basic maintenance of laundry equipment and work area.
- Adhere strictly to hotel hygiene, safety, and operational procedures.
- Handle guest laundry requests with care and discretion.
- Collaborate effectively with housekeeping and other hotel departments.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads (up to 25 kg).
- Attention to detail for sorting, stain removal, and quality control.
- Basic understanding of laundry equipment operation.
