Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry into appropriate categories (e.g., whites, colors, delicate, heavy soiled) according to established procedures.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironers, safely and efficiently.
- Monitor washing and drying cycles, ensuring proper temperature and detergent usage.
- Fold, iron, and neatly stack linens, towels, and uniforms.
- Inspect all items for stains or damage and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including equipment and surrounding workspaces.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts of linens and supplies as needed.
- Handle guest laundry requests with care and professionalism, ensuring timely return.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth laundry operations.
