We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Label Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team in Irvine. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the global marketing landscape for one or more of Blizzard’s iconic game franchises, which we lovingly refer to as ‘labels.’ This isn’t just about promoting a product; it’s about nurturing a beloved universe, engaging millions of dedicated players, and attracting new adventurers into our worlds. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, player acquisition, and sustained engagement for your assigned ‘label.’

As the Label Marketing Manager, you’ll blend your deep understanding of the gaming industry with exceptional strategic thinking and a keen eye for impactful campaigns. You’ll be the champion for your assigned ‘label,’ translating its unique essence and future vision into compelling marketing narratives. From concept to launch and beyond, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including game development, creative services, community management, PR, and analytics to ensure cohesive and impactful communication across all touchpoints. This role requires a leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, creatively driven environment, manage complex projects, and make data-driven decisions to achieve ambitious marketing goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the creation of comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategies and campaign plans for assigned game franchises ('labels'), aligning with overall business objectives and brand vision.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing campaigns, from initial ideation and concept development through execution, launch, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with game development, product management, creative, community, and PR teams to ensure integrated and consistent messaging across all player touchpoints.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions for effective player acquisition and engagement.
  • Oversee and manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track ROI to ensure optimal spend and campaign performance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities, using insights to continually optimize strategies and maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop compelling marketing briefs, presentations, and communication materials for internal stakeholders and external partners, clearly articulating strategy and rationale.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing strategy, brand management, or campaign management within the entertainment or gaming industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful global marketing campaigns with measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, campaign performance metrics, and consumer insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
  • Deep understanding of the gaming landscape, player communities, and current digital marketing trends and platforms.
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with globally recognized entertainment brands or intellectual properties.
  • Proficiency with various marketing analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social listening tools, CRM systems).
  • A genuine passion for video games and familiarity with Blizzard Entertainment's franchises.
