Brasserie de Sept-Faims is seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Entry-Level Label Assistant to join our production team in Sherbrooke, Quebec. You will work closely with our production and packaging teams, learning the intricacies of product finishing and quality control. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain labeling equipment for bottles, cans, and other product containers.
- Ensure accurate and consistent application of labels according to company branding guidelines and quality standards.
- Perform quality checks on labeled products, identifying and addressing any imperfections or misalignments.
- Assist with inventory management of labeling materials, including labels, adhesives, and ink.
- Prepare packaging materials and ensure proper organization of the labeling station.
- Collaborate with the production and packaging teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the production facility.
- Assist with general production tasks as needed, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine cleaning of equipment and surrounding spaces.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the production supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and inventory (training provided).
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment (even entry-level).
- An interest in craft beverages or the brewing industry.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures.
