Key Responsibilities
- Clean and wash all kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, such as peeling vegetables or sorting ingredients.
- Ensure correct disposal of waste and recycling, adhering to hotel policies and environmental guidelines.
- Receive and store deliveries, checking items against invoices and maintaining stock rotation.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, ensuring all equipment is clean and in place.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards in the kitchen immediately to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times.
- Support the culinary team with any ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

- Residency in or near Isolo, Lagos.
