Crossreach is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our Cathcart Care Home team. As a Kitchen Hand, you will be an integral part of our kitchen brigade, working alongside our talented chefs and catering staff. You will be crucial in maintaining impeccable kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes, sanitising workstations, cleaning kitchen floors, and ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are kept in excellent, hygienic condition. You will play a crucial part in managing stock, receiving food and supply deliveries, checking them against invoices, and ensuring all supplies are rotated and stored correctly and safely, contributing to the smooth daily operations of our busy kitchen. We are looking for someone who is not only reliable, punctual, and hardworking but also possesses a keen eye for detail and a steadfast commitment to upholding strict health and safety regulations, including COSHH and HACCP principles.
