Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves supporting the kitchen staff in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. The successful candidate will be a team player, possess a strong work ethic, and be passionate about contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting chefs with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, prepping ingredients, and cleaning.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, complying with all hygiene and safety regulations.
- Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Assisting with stock rotation and inventory management.
- Following all kitchen safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff members to achieve team goals.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
