Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs with the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables and meats.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and sweeping/mopping floors.
  • Support the culinary team during service by ensuring all necessary items are stocked and accessible.
  • Receive and store deliveries efficiently, ensuring proper rotation and storage of food items.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
