Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and eager-to-learn individual to join JED Engineering Ltd. as a Junior Technician specializing in Power Systems. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians and engineers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of power system equipment, including generators, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on electrical infrastructure to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform basic diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify faults in power systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Support the calibration and configuration of power system components and monitoring devices under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inventory, and equipment status, ensuring proper documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards during all operations to promote a safe working environment.
- Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials required for various field assignments, ensuring readiness for tasks.
- Participate actively in training sessions and continuous professional development programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Provide responsive on-site technical support as directed, demonstrating a commitment to timely problem resolution and client satisfaction.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of newly installed or repaired power system components, verifying functionality and performance.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
