Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior auditors in conducting security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity, Rust, or other blockchain-specific languages.
  • Perform manual code reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, integer overflows, access control issues, and logic errors.
  • Utilize static and dynamic analysis tools to aid in vulnerability discovery and verification.
  • Write comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, their severity, and recommended remediation steps.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal auditing methodologies and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in blockchain technology, smart contract vulnerabilities, and security tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to explain vulnerabilities and advise on secure coding practices.
  • Participate in post-audit verification to ensure identified issues have been correctly addressed.

Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals (e.g., Ethereum, EVM, Layer 2 solutions).
  • Proficiency in at least one smart contract programming language (e.g., Solidity, Rust for Solana/Substrate).
  • Basic knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
  • Familiarity with smart contract development tools (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • Prior experience (internship, personal projects, CTFs) in smart contract development or security auditing.
  • Familiarity with Web3 concepts and decentralized finance (DeFi).
