Job Description

Halogen Security Company Limited is actively seeking a diligent and vigilant Junior Security Aide to join our dedicated team, specifically for gate control operations at a premium residential estate in Agbowa, Ikorodu. This is an on-site, full-time position crucial for maintaining the safety and exclusivity of our client’s residential community. As a Junior Security Aide, you will be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and vendors, playing a pivotal role in access management and maintaining a secure perimeter. Your primary responsibility will involve diligently monitoring gate activities, verifying identities, managing visitor logs, and ensuring that only authorized individuals and vehicles gain entry, strictly adhering to established security protocols. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to upholding security standards while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with all individuals entering or exiting the premises. You will be expected to conduct regular patrols around the gate area and immediate vicinity, identify and report any suspicious activities, unauthorized entries, or potential security breaches to your supervisor promptly. Furthermore, you will assist in responding to minor security incidents, directing visitors, and providing assistance to residents as needed, all while adhering to the highest standards of professionalism. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control access at the residential estate gate for residents, visitors, and vendors.
  • Verify identities and credentials of all individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
  • Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of the gate area to detect and deter unauthorized activities.
  • Report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or security incidents to the supervisor promptly.
  • Operate gate control equipment, CCTV monitoring systems, and communication devices as required.
  • Provide clear directions and assistance to visitors and residents in a courteous manner.
  • Enforce all established security policies and procedures consistently.
  • Respond to alarms and emergency situations according to protocols.
