Nigeria Bottling Company Ltd is seeking a dynamic Junior Marketing Promoter – Social Brand (Field Support) to join our vibrant team in Ojuwoye, Mushin. This is an exciting opportunity to be the face of some of the world’s most beloved beverage brands directly within local communities.
In this pivotal role, you will be on the front lines, engaging consumers, building brand awareness, and fostering loyalty through direct interaction and innovative field activations. You will be instrumental in executing our grassroots marketing strategies, bringing our brands to life through events, promotions, and community outreach programs across Ojuwoye and surrounding areas. Beyond traditional field promotion, you will play a crucial role in integrating our social media efforts by capturing compelling content from the field, encouraging user-generated content, and driving online buzz from offline activities.

You will collect valuable consumer feedback, monitor local market trends, and report on competitor activities, providing crucial insights to our marketing team. Key Responsibilities
- Execute dynamic field marketing campaigns and promotional activities in Ojuwoye, Mushin, and adjacent communities.
- Represent Nigeria Bottling Company's iconic brands professionally and enthusiastically at all community touchpoints.
- Engage directly with consumers, provide comprehensive product information, conduct samplings, and drive product sales.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of field activities, consumer interactions, and event highlights for social media content creation.
- Actively encourage social media sharing, tag creation, and user-generated content from consumers during promotions and events.
- Monitor and report on local market trends, competitor promotional activities, and direct consumer feedback to the marketing team.
- Efficiently distribute marketing materials, ensuring optimal brand visibility and consistent messaging.
- Assist in the setup, breakdown, and management of promotional stands, display materials, and event equipment.
- Contribute to the preparation of daily and weekly activity reports, performance metrics, and post-campaign analysis.
- Support the overall brand strategy through effective grassroots efforts and community-specific initiatives.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, high energy levels, and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic understanding and active use of major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
- Comfortable with extensive field-based work, including standing for long periods and interacting in various outdoor settings.
- Fluency in English and a good command of the Yoruba language, given the local context.
- Proficiency in using a smartphone for content capture, communication, and basic reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- An OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience (e.g., internships, part-time roles) in promotional work, direct sales, customer service, or brand ambassador roles.
- Familiarity with the Ojuwoye and larger Mushin community landscape and demographics.
- Basic photography and videography skills, with an understanding of what constitutes engaging social media content.
