You will work closely with our marketing, content, and editorial teams to ensure consistent brand messaging, schedule compelling posts, interact with our vibrant communities, and monitor performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies for TechCabal and Zikoko.
  • Schedule and publish engaging content across various social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and engagement opportunities, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the creation of social media content, including writing captions, curating visuals, and coordinating with design/video teams.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Assist in the execution of social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and campaign initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization (personal projects count!)
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong grasp of tone and brand voice.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics).
  • Proficiency in content scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
