Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Junior Kitchen Attendant to join our dynamic corporate catering team at our Eko Tower office in Victoria Island. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work surfaces.
- Ensure all kitchen areas are tidy, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Support in receiving and storing kitchen supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing waste.
- Assist with the setup and clearing of dining areas, ensuring readiness for service.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency in food quality.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
