Your daily tasks will include assisting with inventory management for cleaning supplies and maintenance tools, logging and tracking facility repair requests, conducting routine visual inspections of public areas and guest rooms for cleanliness and basic functionality, and reporting any discrepancies or maintenance needs promptly. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior housekeeping and maintenance staff with daily tasks.
- Conduct routine checks of hotel rooms and public areas for cleanliness, damage, and maintenance issues.
- Log, track, and report all identified maintenance issues and repair requests accurately.
- Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and basic maintenance tools.
- Perform minor repairs or adjustments as instructed, under supervision (e.g., changing lightbulbs, tightening loose fixtures).
- Ensure all cleaning and maintenance equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Support the preparation of rooms for guest arrival and assist with turn-down services as needed.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards and protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns related to facility conditions.
