Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planting, transplanting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing various plants, shrubs, and trees in residential gardens.
- Perform routine lawn care activities, including precise mowing, careful trimming, neat edging, and appropriate watering of lawns.
- Operate and maintain a variety of gardening tools and light equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers) safely and efficiently.
- Monitor plant health, identify common pests or diseases, and report observations promptly to senior gardeners or supervisors.
- Ensure client properties are kept clean and tidy, including clearing debris, raking leaves, and disposing of green waste responsibly.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols and company guidelines for equipment operation and workplace conduct at all times.
- Collaborate effectively and professionally with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.
- Actively learn and adapt to new gardening techniques and horticultural best practices as guided and instructed by supervisors.
- Provide excellent customer service and uphold the company's reputation for quality and professionalism at client sites.
Required Skills
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of plant care principles and a genuine, keen interest in horticulture and gardening.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions meticulously and accurately.
