Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily sorting and staging of packages for dispatch to various delivery routes.
  • Coordinate with delivery riders to ensure timely collection and departure of parcels.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments within the dispatch unit.
  • Monitor delivery progress and provide real-time updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve minor dispatch-related issues and escalate complex problems to senior coordinators.
  • Ensure proper inventory management within the dispatch area, preventing loss or damage to goods.
  • Support the optimization of delivery routes and schedules to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth handover of packages.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch performance reports.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with local geographical routes within Lagos, particularly Amuwo Odofin and surrounding areas.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce operations and last-mile delivery processes.
  • Experience using logistics management software or tracking systems.
