Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large, complex datasets from various sources.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical solutions.
- Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineering teams to deploy models into production environments.
- Create clear and concise visualizations and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in A/B testing design, execution, and analysis to measure the impact of new features and initiatives.
- Document methodologies, data sources, and model assumptions for knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
- Continuously learn and apply new data science techniques, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 1+ year of professional experience or equivalent project work/internships in data analysis or data science.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python or R) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and managing databases.
- Foundational understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression, classification).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, ggplot2, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
