Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support senior controllers in variance analysis, identifying discrepancies and trends in financial data.
- Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., IFRS/US GAAP).
- Participate in the development and improvement of financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights for reporting and analysis.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required by management for strategic decision-making.
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, advanced formulas).
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- High level of integrity and a commitment to ethical financial practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship experience in a finance or accounting department within a corporate setting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- Basic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
