As a Bricklaying Helper, you will be an integral part of our construction crew, supporting skilled masons in all aspects of bricklaying work on various exciting projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing work sites, efficiently handling and transporting essential materials like bricks, blocks, and mortar, and assisting with the precise mixing of mortar and concrete. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly cared for, and actively assisting with the setting out and laying of bricks and blocks under supervision. This position is designed to provide comprehensive on-the-job training, offering a direct pathway to understanding construction blueprints, learning proper safety protocols, and mastering the precision techniques that are hallmarks of Cappa & D’Alberto’s projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled masons in all aspects of bricklaying and masonry work.
- Prepare work sites by setting up and clearing tools, equipment, and materials.
- Handle and transport bricks, blocks, bags of cement, sand, and other building materials.
- Mix mortar, concrete, and other building compounds according to specifications.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Support in the measurement, cutting, and shaping of materials as instructed.
- Learn and adhere to all safety procedures and regulations on the construction site.
- Assist in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Follow instructions diligently and contribute positively to team efforts.
