As a Junior Cleaner Attendant, you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of cleaning and maintenance duties across the entire store. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization tasks across all assigned areas, including sales floors, aisles, checkout counters, and display units, ensuring they are sparkling clean before store opening.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect all public and staff restrooms, ensuring they are consistently stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floor surfaces, paying close attention to high-traffic areas and removing any debris or spills promptly.
- Dust and wipe down shelves, fixtures, glass surfaces, mirrors, and office furniture regularly.
- Empty all trash receptacles and replace liners, ensuring waste is disposed of properly and recycling guidelines are followed where applicable.
- Clean and maintain the cleanliness of staff break rooms, changing rooms, and back office areas.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during cleaning rounds to the appropriate supervisor.
- Safely use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals according to company guidelines and safety protocols.
- Assist with periodic deep cleaning projects or special event preparations as required.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and present a neat and tidy appearance during working hours.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment.
