Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs and kitchen staff with all aspects of food preparation, including precise washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping of a variety of ingredients.
- Rigorously learn and accurately execute KFC’s proprietary recipes and established cooking procedures for various signature menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization for all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils according to strict company and industry hygiene protocols.
- Proactively monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet KFC’s renowned standards before being served to customers.
- Strictly adhere to all food safety regulations and health guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and precise temperature control of all food ingredients and prepared items.
- Support efficient inventory management by assisting with systematic stock rotation, meticulous receiving of deliveries, and proactive efforts to minimize food waste.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under direct supervision, adhering to all operational guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively and harmoniously with all team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations, timely service, and a positive working atmosphere.
