Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with comprehensive vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various automotive systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Learn to use and operate specialized automotive tools and diagnostic equipment accurately and safely.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop area to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.
- Shadow and observe experienced technicians to learn best practices, problem-solving techniques, and effective repair strategies.
- Study and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins to understand vehicle specifications and repair procedures.
- Assist in accurately identifying vehicle issues and recommending appropriate, cost-effective solutions to senior staff.
- Strictly follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety.
- Continuously seek to improve automotive knowledge and technical skills through observation, training, and self-study.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere.
