Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior tailors with various stages of garment production, including measurement taking, fabric cutting, and sewing.
- Learn and apply different sewing techniques, stitching methods, and finishing processes under direct supervision.
- Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines, ensuring proper usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Prepare fabrics for cutting, including pressing, laying out patterns, and marking.
- Support in the assembly of garments, including attaching components like zippers, buttons, and linings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Assist with garment fittings and alterations, learning how to make adjustments for perfect fit.
- Perform quality checks on finished garments to ensure they meet De-Gold's high standards.
