Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Johnson & Johnson team in Kingston, Ontario, for an immediate start. This critical role is integral to our supply chain operations, ensuring that essential products reach our customers and patients efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for a variety of warehouse activities, from receiving and stocking to picking and shipping, all while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Safely load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to transportation guidelines.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space and accessibility.
  • Operate various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, if certified) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and health regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations and meet daily targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic mathematical and computer proficiency for inventory tracking.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Forklift operator certification (e.g., Counterbalance, Reach Truck) with proven experience.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
