Key Responsibilities

  • Execute laboratory experiments following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare reagents, media, and other materials required for experiments.
  • Perform precise and accurate data collection, recording, and basic analysis.
  • Maintain detailed and organized laboratory notebooks and electronic records.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Assist in the preparation of scientific reports, presentations, and summaries of research findings.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and company guidelines.
  • Participate in laboratory meetings and contribute to scientific discussions.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, order supplies, and ensure the lab is well-stocked.
  • Perform basic cell culture, molecular biology, or analytical chemistry techniques as required.
  • Troubleshoot experimental issues and propose solutions under guidance from senior staff.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience (academic or industry).
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, solution preparation, sterile technique).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and meticulous documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
