Sparkle Cleaning Services is urgently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Janitorial Cleaning Crew in Riversdale, Saskatoon. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring high levels of hygiene.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and other areas as needed.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting needs to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning and specialized tasks as assigned.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards observed during cleaning activities.
- Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest quality standards within designated timelines.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all cleaning tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills to understand instructions and report issues.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning (6+ months preferred).
- Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (asset for multi-site assignments).
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, if required.
